"Who would have thought..."

Another one for the "Who would have thought you could make a living off that?" department, we are pleased to introduce ourselves as a team of professional artists who specialise in Face Art, Fun Hair Design and Temporary Airbrush Tattoos.

With backgrounds that involve a few Fine Art degrees, an obsession with makeup, a steady hand and a quick mind, Wowee Creations was born in 2000. It was in the cold depths of Canada where Bryony Smyth and Rachael Richardson grew tired of cleaning Ski Cabins and decided to put their creative flair to use on children's faces at the local festival (a small gathering called the Calgary Stampede.) To their surprise it was a massive hit and so they painted their way around North America.

On their return to Australia they decided they would never find bosses as good as themselves so they applied for a Small Business Grant and began the hard task of building a business together. Soon they forged a reputation for original, high quality and speedy work. Today they enjoy transforming the masses at events such as the Ekka, Sydney Easter Show, Royal Melbourne Show, Ambiwerra Festival, B105/Channel 9 Street Parties, Triple M at the Gabba, Suncorp Stadium and Bunning’s Warehouse, Westfield Shopping Centres and many more.

Now that Wowee Creations is growing in popularity five new artists have joined the team to share the increasing workload and to encourage this great concept. We are based in Brisbane and our team of fully trained artists look forward to adding a touch of colour to your event soon.

"Music can touch people at a primal level - evoking different emotions and triggering memories of particular places and times.

Music is such a part of our emotional makeup - it can make you patriotic, it can make you want to fight,

it can make you want to cry"
