His career highlights have been many and varied and include:
As a solo performer, Luke creates a unique atmosphere; using a blend of guitar, harmonica, stomp box and voice. His current album, "Foreign Language", released in May 2005, is his finest work to date. "Making this album has been a labour of love; a natural, organic experience. Having Christian Pyle producing has been fantastic, I'm a fan of his work and I love what he's brought out in the songs. It's also been a privilege to have some of my favourite musicians play on different tracks. this is the most exciting album I've done..." The songs are stories from four years on the road, thick with places and people, and some reflections on human nature. |

"Music can touch people at a primal level - evoking different emotions and triggering memories of particular places and times. Music is such a part of our emotional makeup - it can make you patriotic, it can make you want to fight, it can make you want to cry" Reproduced with the kind permission of Jimmy Barnes from his book Say It Loud |
