and actor, is a multi talented writer and performer with a career spanning radio, TV, film, theatre and music! He's worked both in front of and behind the camera, and shared the stage with some of Australia’s finest blues & roots musicians, including Phil Emmanuel, Matt Corcoran and Phil Manning to name a few. He has also supported the likes of Tim Freedman (The Whitlams) and Rick Price. Pete's lyrics and poetry reflect well the human condition. Topics are as diverse as love and love lost, through to planetary degradation and tropical fruit. Everyday events are turned into shiny gems, politicians and policy makers given an often necessary serve, and all of us are treated to a poetic and at times humorous wake up call. Be sure to check out this great Australian artist!
Primal is taking a little hiatus from writing for The Calm Space (which is a gorgeous place to unwind, its 'like a virtual day-spa for your senses'!) but that doesn't mean you should miss out on the beautiful pearls to be found among its pages. Head on over to find out what it's all about.

forming in December 2007 Racz 'n Waters have found their own beautifully original spaces. Their vocals blend seamlessly in 3 part harmonies, as they sing their open hearted lyrics, captivating audiences and promising a truly unforgettable performance that, in such a short time, has won awards and recommendations. Their Debut Album Nothing Borrowed' produced by Karl Broadie, has an acoustic feel that doesn't need bells and whistles to be described as nothing short of breath taking. Nothing Borrowed not only offers the listener a chance to Take Time (funnily enough the title of the opening track) and reflect, but also offers fun and anthem like tracks guaranteed to send goose bumps through even the toughest of skins... and hearts. |

"Music can touch people at a primal level - evoking different emotions and triggering memories of particular places and times. Music is such a part of our emotional makeup - it can make you patriotic, it can make you want to fight, it can make you want to cry" Reproduced with the kind permission of Jimmy Barnes from his book Say It Loud |
